Rosh Hashannah is upon us.  A new beginning.  And?

I will post the entire portfolio every week which will reflect the portfolio as the close on Friday.

If you read my  sign-off post yesterday at the old site, you know I said sell something(s) and get some cash.  Why?  There is an old adage:  sell at Rosh Hashana and buy at Yom Kippur(10 days later).  I asked Helene Meisler, one of technician over at thestreet.com, if this really held-up.  But she didn’t feel comfortable asserting “the truth” of this because the dates are different every year.  I happen to think it is event driven and try to bide by it.

So, for all L’Shana Tova.  Let this coming year be a healthful and profitable one for all.
