Since a week before Christmas, it has snowed (sometimes a lot; other times, 1 or 2 inches) or been cold.  This weekend, it combined: cold and snow.  How many weeks have you been in the house or out of electricity?

News says grocery stores were mobbed.  Yet, I haven’t spent any money in weeks; living on what is here.  Lauder getting low.  Although I could make bread and chocolate chip cookies, there is no meat left but still have cans of beans, bags of dried beans, and a few cans of tuna plus a bag of Cosco frozen salmon steaks.

My daughter has said for years, I could live for 6 months out of my freezer and shelves.  May find out exactly if this weather stays for the entire winter.

I think this weather will decrease GDP by at least 1%.
