EMC is up over 5% after hours after being hit hard today:

Rumor, rumor, and more “inside” knowledge has hit this stock over and over.  Tonight, EMC hit all its targets; VMW, which is owned (80%) by EMC reported better than predicted numbers.  The two companies did some exchange of Executives. So, tonight when all the facts were really known, the companies have soared.  So much for rumor and all those in the know.  Honest companies keep their mouth shut until they make their announcements public.  Here is an example of the known vs the rumor.
