The $550 has been removed from my trading account, about 1 week after I first requested the distribution. See the following email I sent to “service” person and the CEO in response to their flash message on twitter :”reach out to us.”
Headed by my account #, name and address: I have talked to telephone rep Thursday, Friday (jan 13+14) about IRA distribution to my Bank of American chking account which you have on file. I faxed dist form last Thursday and last Saturday. I have received emails acknowledging both these faxes of the Distribution Form. I have written(emailed you) at least twice a day since Jan 14. I talked to a telephone rep yesterday and today (who said they would expedite this distribution). There has still been no distribution. This is a week. This would be understandable in an earlier time. There is something wrong with Management’s choices of “atedhow to run a department.” This is not a functioning department. I can receive an order from Amazon within 24 hrs. But I haven’t received an acknowledgment from Bank of America that they have received $550 although I’ve been assured over and over again that this would be accomplished in an “expedited manner.” This procedure needs to be evaluated and fixed quickly. I realize there may be “a run on the bank.” The Market encourages withdrawals. Does the Federal gov Regulators have to be even more involved. I hope not. I hope this message is forwarded to those that do make decisions about organization and procedure.
