The NYTimes today has a front pager on how a million dollars isn’t enough for retirement and we should be alarmed.  Are you kiddin?  First, who has a million?  Second, when did everyone become entitled or thought they would STOP WORKING?  MY father? Uncles? Grandfather?  Mother?  Where do these people come from?  Horrible jobs, mind numbing jobs, life threatening jobs were the jobs that fought for a few years “off the jobs” at the END OF LIFE!  Now, everyone?  And do what?

Ah, now, change the day the day.  Do something different!  Well, many of us have been doing that for decades.  Most of us have darted, re-invented, re-learned, re-trained, looked-for another means of earning a living.  Maybe the NYTimes is just learning.  Change is hard.  It takes guts.  Many of us fall through the cracks.  But most of us have NO CHOICE.  CHANGE!  THAT”S LIFE and that’s what living is all about.
