Up some, down a lot, down some more, up a good bit, and down a lot.  Kass has started writing about this Market which showed up about 3 weeks ago.  This is a good trading market not such a great investing market.  What does that mean?  Really, it just means, there is a change going on.  My guess is Europe is bad, not getting worse and not getting better.  USA growing on a steady, slow trajectory.  Asia? big time bumpy.  China may be having trouble keep up the growth they need.  Japan’s Econ leader, ABE, is going to force Japan to grow.  China vs Japan and vise-versa? edgy, anger, pushing each other, tension.  Will China continue to poke into Middle East and will Great Britain and USA get more involved?

My best guess is that Internationalism is slowing.  Sticking to your own backyard is growing.  Investing with that in mind is probably the way to play it for a while.
