The Market was down approx. 1/2% for the week but the NASDAQ was up about the same.  The Portfolio underperformed this week.  It lost $48.67 down approx 1%.

Banks rose rapidly at the end of the week and bio-tech rose all week.  Very small bio-tech companies took off, some from new drugs and the others by speculation.  ETF is really the only way to play these or a basket of many with a few larger companies added in, such as Gilead.

Europe continues to be a disaster with Merkel of Germany continuing to bully creating a deeper and deeper European depression: unemployment over 25% in Greece (no banking through Banks according to BBC radio) and 15-20% all over Euro Zone.  Austerity and balance budgets during banking/credit crisis is a doomsday scenario for the population.  Germany’s tendency to bully its neighbors has always led to WARS; this time a financial war.
