When I inquired why TradeKing Management has no back-up vendor for streaming quotes, I received this response:

Sometimes unforeseeable issues can arise. While we understand this causes an inconvenience, the process of changing providers for the streamer to another party would be a costly and time consuming move which would take longer to implement than waiting out AlphaTrade restoring the temporary outage.

I see you are already signed up with our TradeKing Live platform which you can access via your Summary page at this time. This tool provides streaming quotes and can be utilized by our clients during this time. If you need assistance with launching the TradeKing Live platform, feel free to contact us via Live Chat or phone at 877-495-5464 for assistance.

Sure if you decide at the break-down.  To not have a back-up, ready to go, is POOR Managment.
