answer:  no one is going to do anything except to continue to protect the wealthiest, balance the budget on the elderly, children, and sick.  yesterday, I visited the most caring physician in my area, good provider, reasonable rates, sensitive to all people and extraordinarily trained as a practitioner and research. She told me that the Insurance companies (who run Congress and regulations) have decided to continue our health care  with “specialist”(they order tests and procedures, some of these they do, some send to labs and surgical centers) and family practice specialists.  The former group is trained and retrained for group but doesn’t know much beyond this special training.  Therefore, put out data and relate it to little for the person.  The family physician has one year after medical school and sometimes voluntarily takes another.  The one person, who is highly trained and can put testing results together with surgical results together with history, YES< =, coordinate care and explain choices to the patient is the Internist.  Right now Insurance Companies are decreasing their reimbursement and may eliminate them in to healthcare necessities.  Think of it this way, we will spend hours get cut, poked, fluids collected and all analyzed.  But NO ONE will know what this means to the INDIVIDUAL!.

We can’t let it happen.  The Internist is Necessary to explain, coordinate, and help us make choose.  Without this specialty, we sill spend more and get less.  HELP!!

When will we insist on our judgment and not the Insurance company.  We now see Insurance companies see houses destroyed and argue whether the house collapsed because the water was from a frozen pipe. an open window, rain, hurricane or a flood.  Yes, lots of people make a living fight this fight.  But when is MY HOUSE FIXED!!???
